We were successful in opening a “re-route” for the 109 trail coming from Medway to S.Twin yesterday. This was due to a new logging operation which started Tuesday to our surprise. Took about 4 hours from start to finish. We had to build a snow bridge using pallets over a small brook, and push 4′-5′ of snow to fill in a dry brook. A little signing is left to be done on the Medway side.
We had to do the same thing last March. We also opened up the Silver Lake trail for the Brownville club which meets up to our B-Pond trail.
