Two groomers went out Monday. Had to clean up more blow downs from the wind storm we had Sunday.
We groomed the following trails:
- ITS 109 to ITS 86
- P.P. x-over trail
- Black Pond trail
- ITS111
- Fire Tower trail
There’s alot of small helmet slappers that need to be cut, so you people who ride our system it would sure be appreciated if you could lend a hand. Two or three of us can’t keep the trails groomed and brushed properly by ourselves. It’s just becoming too much!
The Greenwood Mtn. trail, B-Pond trail and the Gaunlet Falls trail will not be groomed until the landowner (who is logging right now on a portion of the Greenwood trail) gives us the ok. They Do Not want to share the trail for safety issues, so we will adhere to their wishes!
More grooming will take place Wednesday when the temps cool off from today. We received some freezing rain snow mix last night which I don’t think hurt the trails?
If any body stops to cut a tree or branch, please throw it father off the trail and cut back enough so the groomers can get thru. Thanks in advance !
