Well folks, it’s that time of year once again. The Jo Mary Riders groomed for the last time on April 3 when Dave did the 109, Black Pond and Parkway trails. Phil groomed the 111 and Wildwoods trails. And Rick was skiing in 14 inches of fresh powder at Snowbird in Utah!
What a season it has been. Between the three groomers we had almost 800 hours of grooming and spent over $17,000 on off-road diesel fuel. If you would like to help us pay our ever increasing bills, just go to www.jomaryriders.com and you can make an online donation.
There is still some great riding out there and (depending on the weather) it will probably last for another week or two. Just watch out for the moose as they are everywhere and hate to leave the comfort of the groomed trails.
Remember that most facilities are closing for the season so take a lunch and extra gas with you.
Our thanks to all who have supported our efforts this season and we hope that you have enjoyed our trails. The attached photo was taken on what will be a new section of our 109 trail for the 2015 season. Incredible views of our lake system and Mt. Katahdin!
