JoMary Riders Snowmobile Club Membership Information

Join the JoMary Riders Snowmobile Club and help support the best snowmobile trails in Maine.

There are two types of memberships:

• 1) Family Membership; and
• 2) Supporting Business Membership

All memberships run from October 1 to September 30. Membership dues may also include a membership in the Maine Snowmobile Association (MSA). New membership submissions are valid through the end of the current season.

Club members have the option of participating in club trail work, fund raising, membership drives, social activities etc. Just contact us let us know how you would like to be involved.

1) Family Membership

a) Your JoMary Riders Snowmobile Club Membership

100% of your JoMary Riders dues is retained by the JoMary Riders Snowmobile Club to support club activities, including:

• The JoMary Riders’ Trail Maintenance and Grooming activities;
• The JoMary Riders’ website and trail reports;
• Note: We do not print or mail a newsletter. All club news, trail reports and legislative news is reported on our website.

b) Optional Maine Snowmobile Association (MSA) Membership

The additional MSA members also support and receive:

• An on-staff lobbyist promoting Maine snowmobiling before the legislature;
• A subscription to the MSA’s “Maine Snowmobiler” newspaper;
• The annual “Snowmobile Maine Guide” and the ITS trail map;
• Production of the Maine Snowmobile Show;
• A MSA Membership decal;
• Eligibility for the MSA scholarship program (must be a member for 2 years, and enroll by January 1 of the current season);
• Distribution of materials including the “Ride Right” safety CD;
• Maintenance of an e-mail alert list;
• MSA’s Facebook presence;
• The MSA Super Raffle fundraiser;
• Representation by fellow snowmobilers on numerous state-wide committees and organizations involved with land access and outdoor recreation.

Family Membership Rates

• Option A – JoMary Club Membership – $40 Total: 100% of the dues supports the Jo Mary Riders Snowmobile Club.
• Option B – JoMary Club Plus MSA Membership – $40 Total: $25 supports the Jo Mary Riders Snowmobile Club, and $15 is for the membership in the Maine Snowmobile Association.
• Optional Extras (only until December 1, 2016) – $2 for one MSA annual raffle ticket / or $10 for six tickets.

2) Supporting Business Membership

During the 2014-2015 season, over 2000 businesses statewide chose to support the snowmobile clubs and trails of Maine by becoming a Supporting Business Member.

Supporting Business Memberships are $45, of which $23 is sent to the MSA for state affiliation.

Supporting Business Members receive:

• A listing and website link on the club’s website;
• A subscription to the “Maine Snowmobiler”;
• A listing in the Maine Snowmobiler’s Supporting Business page;
• An MSA decal and certificate to post in your place of business;
• Discounted advertising rates in the Maine Snowmobiler;
• A listing on the back of the following year’s Maine ITS map (statewide map of the interconnected snowmobile trail system).
